Genre. Veronica Rivers, the title heroine is a rescue pilot who was working on the North Pole at the time she heard SOS signal from the team of geologists. She rushed to where they were positioned, but found a great mess in their camp with nobody around. Veronica quickly got on their track and now follows the disappeared team as she collects the lost equipment and other clues on her way. Suddenly she appears in front of the stone portal that can be opened by solving a puzzle. A portal is a door to the remote part of the Earth (just like black holes in the space). Thus, after opening the portal on the North Pole, Veronica finds herself in the tropical forests of the South-East Asia...

On every stage Veronica’s tasks are:

1). Find out her precise location by playing Satellite mini-game and establishing clear signal between the chain of satellites. Once it is established, you’ll see your precise coordinates.

2). Collect hidden clues and equipment (by playing hidden object levels) and take photos – with help of your PDA. Just activate your PDA camera and find the part of the picture using your cursor as a viewfinder. TIP: when you think you’re on the right place and your camera does not take a photo, it means you need to move your camera until the viewfinder turns green. Then, right mouse click to take a picture!   

3). Solve mini-puzzle allowing you to unlock a portal and get to another faraway land. I’ve opened three portals now and can say that every time you’ll just have to move or rotate the stones according to some principle, which is pretty easy.

Hints.
Hints are always available as a button on the bottom left on your PDA screen. After you press hint, the whole scene will get dark except for the item you need to find.

It will take around 20 seconds for a hint to recharge. So, luckily, you can use unlimited number of hints on a level.
