Second, by performing a number of combos, you’ll unlock a Score Frenzy mode, where you’ll be generously awarded with score for performing matches.

Always keep your eye on how fresh the ingredients on the work table are. The freshness of each ingredient is indicated with stars(see the screenshot above). So, the fresher the ingredients are, and the better quality your cake is, the more stars you’ll earn by preparing it.

In Pastry Passion Deluxe, stars are sort of currency that you will be able to spend for getting upgrades at the shop. Only look at this nice Parisian street shop and what it has to offer: ingredients of the improved quality, additional skills and bonuses etc…
