This game literally brought me back to childhood and made me recall the lessons of ear training at musical school. Symphony N40 by Mozart, Blue Danube, Entertainer by Scott Joplin and other world famous melodies like Jingle Bells and Auld Lane Syne – it all made me recall how beautiful classical and folk music is.

So, let’s begin with the storyline. In Musaic Box, a player takes a role of a grandson of a famous musician who scours the rooms of his granddad’s house in search of grandfather’s sheet music. As you find all the pieces of sheet music for one melody, your task is to piece the melody together out of its numerous parts each represented by puzzle pieces. It looks like you’re solving a mosaic, and sounds like you’re collecting a melody out of pieces. But believe me – it feels like you’re composing your own music! So, not only does Musaic Box bring you so much-awaited rest and relaxation. It brings you something much more precious – inspiration to play more and more levels!

So, here are some tips and tricks for Musaic Box:

Point-and-click rooms:
The last note: the interior of your granddad’s house is amazing: you’ll be mosing through the rooms filled with musical instruments, books, antiques and posh furniture. Your task is to find small white pieces of sheet music. So, where can they be?

1.    Try to open the things that need to be opened(like violin case, suitcase, musicbox and books, diaries etc.)

2.    Some pieces are written on the wall. And you need to switch a lamp to see them.

3.    Try to move the things that can be moved (books over the table, coat hangers near the wall).

4.    If you feel at a loss and don’t know where the next piece is hiding, you can click randomly – there is no penalty for it. But if you wait for a couple of seconds, you’ll see the target places glimmering.

5.    The map of the house at the top right reflects numbers of the paper pieces left to find.

6.    In some rooms your task will be to assemble some devices out of parts (like a film projector or a music box).

A piece of sheet music is revealed after you assemble the device.

So, as you collect all the pieces, the most exciting part begins: you will have to create a melody out of dozen mosaic pieces. Each piece of this mosaic represents a note played by the instrument. Each instrument is marked with its special color.

1. Mind that the principal theme(instument) is marked orange or pink. Secondary instruments (like a drum, trumpet, contrabass) are marked dark colors(blue, grey).

2. You should place a note of the specific color only once in a column. So, you cannot place two orange tiles in the same column, or you’ll get terrible sound instead of the divine melody you expect to hear!

3. You can always learn if you placed your tiles correctly by clicking Hint button. The tiles placed incorrectly become dark, while the correctly placed ones remain the same.

4. You can listen to the principal theme of the melody by clicking the musical scale at the bottom of the playfield. On some levels there is no such scale, so, you’ll have to rely on your intuition, ear and geometrical logics.

BTW, in Creations mode, you’ll be able to compose your own arrangements.

Dear rose! Thanks a lot for playing with us. Please follow the steps below: 1. If you found all the pieces in the first room - than just have a look at the top left of the screen on the map of the house. You'll see another room should become available(it will look like a square with a number of pieces to find). Just click on this room on the map to enter it. 2. If no rooms are available on the map except the one you're in, you still need to find a piece or several pieces to complete the current room. If you haven't found all of them and need a clue - just wait and you'll see the hint - the piece will glimmer. Good luck! Enjoy the game! Dolly
